TIME & LOCATION OF THE MEETING:
Date: Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
Time: Polls will open at 8:00 a.m. The meeting will be called to order at approximately 9:00 a.m. should a quorum be reached.
Where: The Lodge, 22200 Canyon Club Drive, Canyon Lake, CA 92587.
Voting Deadlines:
Mailed ballots no later than - Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
Day of the Annual Meeting - Between 8:00 am and 9:00 am on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
If an owner attends the meeting in person to vote, they will need to bring an appropriate identification (CLPOA photo ID card, valid driver’s license).
QUORUM UPDATE
BALLOTS RECEIVED: 791
1/3 of the voting power (1,600 out of 4,800) must return their Irrevocable Secret Ballots or be present in person at the meeting for the Annual Meeting to be held.
Bylaw Amendment Approval Threshold: Per Bylaw Article X, once a quorum (or an adjourned quorum) has been achieved, a majority of the votes must be in favor of the proposed amendments for them to pass.
Updates are given as ballots are received.
Additional Information
For the members to vote on the following measures:
1) The election of two (2) directors to the Board for a two-year term each.
2) MEASURE I: The approval of IRS Revenue 70-604.
3) MEASURE II: Bylaw Amendment Art. VI., Section 1., to add a new subsection (h).
4) MEASURE III: Bylaw Amendment Art. VI., Section 3., to Extend Future Board Director Terms to One (1) Four-Year (4) Term.
